The Monthly Mood
Welcome
We here at Better Days are excited to bring you our first ever monthly newsletter to help you stay on top of things even when life gets hectic. The new year can stir up pressure to change everything at once. Remember, healing and growth aren’t resolutions — they’re rhythms. Try setting gentle intentions instead of rigid goals. Progress in therapy often looks like small, steady shifts toward self-trust and balance.

Monthly Mental Health Focus
Present Minded Living is about living with awareness of the present moment. It looks like withholding judgement, noticing consequences, or discerning helpfulness of harmfulness but letting go of evaluating. It means simply attending to the present moment rather than ignoring it or clinging to the past or future. It’s a practice in mindfulness.
Coping Skills Corner
Protective Factors contribute to overall mental health by creating resiliency which equips us to overcome obstacles. This can include having a good support network, coping skills, a sense of purpose, a healthy mindset, self esteem, and a healthy mindset.
